Where to stay in Koh Samui?
A guide to the areas, beaches and hotels
On Koh Samui, the area you choose to stay in can shape your holiday as much as the hotel itself. In this guide we make sense of the island's map: where each area is, what is around it and which hotels are worth knowing.
Read the full guideOn Koh Samui, the area you choose to stay in can shape your holiday as much as the hotel itself. You can book a pampering villa with a private pool and a sea view, only to find that every time you want to go out for dinner you have to order a taxi. Or you can pick a hotel in the middle of the action, enjoy restaurants, shops and nightlife within walking distance, and then find that the music from the nearby bars goes on deep into the night.
Koh Samui is a fairly large island, and the distances between its tourist areas are significant. Chaweng, Bophut, Lamai, Maenam and Choeng Mon offer very different experiences, even though they are all on the same island.
In this guide to where to stay in Koh Samui we make sense of the island's map: where each area is, what is around it, what the beaches are like, whether you can walk out in the evening, which hotels are worth knowing and what to check before you book.
A beautiful hotel, but what do you do when you want to go out in the evening? Our experience in Chaweng Noi
In March 2025 we stayed at two hotels in the Chaweng Noi area: The Sarann and Impiana Resort Chaweng Noi.
Both are in a beautiful, fairly quiet area south of central Chaweng, but staying there showed us how important it is to check what is outside the hotel too.
At The Sarann we stayed in a large villa with a jacuzzi facing the sea. The room was pampering, the view was wonderful and the service was excellent. It was exactly the romantic resort experience you imagine when you book a holiday in Thailand.
But in the evening it turned out that the location was much less convenient than we had thought.
Read our full story
There were not enough reasonably priced places to eat nearby that we could reach on a comfortable walk. The hotel restaurant closed fairly early, the neighbouring hotels were expensive, and walking along the road in the dark was not pleasant.
On the map, Chaweng looked close. In practice, a spontaneous trip into central Chaweng was not a matter of a short walk.
During our stay at Impiana Resort we also felt the difference between a hotel on a beautiful beach and a hotel in an area where you can simply step out into the street and wander around.
That experience changed the way we choose hotels in Thailand.
Before you book a hotel, ask not only what the room looks like, but what the evening outside it will look like.
If you plan to spend most of your time on the beach, by the pool and at the hotel restaurant, a secluded resort can be a wonderful choice. But if you like to go out every evening, discover restaurants, browse the shops and come back whenever you like, location becomes one of the most important considerations.
And that is exactly why it is worth getting to know Koh Samui's different areas before choosing a hotel.
How is Koh Samui laid out? A map of the areas to stay
Koh Samui is in the Gulf of Thailand. Unlike small islands where you can walk from place to place, here most of the tourism is spread along beaches and villages that are a drive apart.
A ring road runs around much of the island and links the main beach areas. The interior has hills, forests, coconut plantations and mountain roads leading to viewpoints and secluded hotels.
The main areas to stay can be grouped by where they are on the island:
The east coast - Chaweng and Chaweng Noi: the main area for beaches, restaurants, shopping and nightlife. Chaweng Noi has a calmer atmosphere.
The south-east - Lamai and Silver Beach: beaches, restaurants and another tourist centre, alongside small bays and luxury hotels on the hills.
The north-east - Choeng Mon, Plai Laem and Bang Rak: calmer bays, resorts, closeness to the airport and several boat departure points.
The north - Bophut and Maenam: the fishing village, restaurants and shops, alongside quieter stretches of beach.
The west and south-west - Lipa Noi and Taling Ngam: calm, fairly remote areas, with hotels and resorts offering sunset views.
Geographical distance does not tell the whole story. In some areas you can walk comfortably between the hotel, the beach and the restaurants, while in others the hotels are strung out along a road or sit up a hill.

Koh Samui's areas to stay compared - where should you start looking?
| Area | Atmosphere | Main upside | Main downside |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chaweng | Lively and touristy | Restaurants, shopping and nightlife | Noise and crowds in the central parts |
| Chaweng Noi | Calm and romantic | A beautiful beach and resorts | Sometimes dependent on taxis |
| Bophut | Restaurants and evening atmosphere | Fisherman's Village | Not every hotel is close to the village |
| Lamai | Touristy but more laid-back | A beach and a centre with services | Distance from the centre varies along the beach |
| Maenam | Fairly quiet | A long stretch of beach | Fewer options for evenings out |
| Choeng Mon | A calm bay | Beach holidays and resorts | A smaller choice of nights out |
| Bang Rak | Convenient for getting around | Close to the piers and the airport | Not always the best choice for the beach |
| Silver Beach | A small, beautiful bay | Views and clear water in the right conditions | Few options for going out nearby |
| Lipa Noi | Peaceful, with sunsets | A relaxed resort holiday | Far from the nightlife hubs |
| Taling Ngam | Secluded and romantic | Views and quiet | Heavily dependent on transport |
The table is a starting point. Below we look at each area in turn and what staying there means in practice.
1Chaweng - for anyone who wants to be in the centre of things
Chaweng is one of the main tourist centres on Koh Samui.
Along the area there is a long beach, hotels, restaurants, bars, shops, beach clubs and the Central Samui mall.
The big advantage of Chaweng is that you can combine a beach holiday with going out beyond the hotel.
If you stay in a central location, you can head out for dinner, pick something up in a shop, get to the mall or sit in a bar without ordering a taxi every time you go out.
Chaweng is not one uniform area
One common mistake is to treat every hotel listed under Chaweng on booking sites as if they were all in the same place.
In reality, it is a long stretch of beach, with significant differences between its parts.
Central Chaweng is where many of the places to go out, the restaurants and the shops are concentrated. It is also home to nightlife hubs such as ARKbar and the Green Mango area.
It is an excellent location if you are looking for nights out and convenience, but less suitable if you are sensitive to noise.
North Chaweng has a calmer atmosphere in parts, with resorts and hotels on the beach. However, the water at the northern end of the beach can be very shallow at low tide, so the location is not necessarily ideal if you want to swim at any time of day.
South Chaweng can be an interesting compromise between a pleasant beach, restaurants and access to the nightlife areas. Here too, check where the hotel is in relation to the road and the commercial centre.
Hotels worth knowing in Chaweng
More Chaweng Beach hotels we reviewed
During our visit to Koh Samui we walked along Chaweng Beach and photographed some of the hotels and their public areas.
The pros and cons of Chaweng
The big advantage is the freedom to go out in the evening without planning every journey in advance.
The downside is the crowds and noise in the busy parts. A hotel next to a club or a bar may be noisy even if the room itself is beautiful and pampering.
In addition, not every part of the beach is equally good for swimming, because of differences in water depth and sea conditions.
Suits: first-time visitors to Koh Samui, young travellers, nightlife lovers, travellers who enjoy shopping and restaurants, and anyone who wants to use taxis as little as possible.
What to check before booking: the real walking distance to Central Samui, how close you are to nightclubs, where the room is in relation to the street and exactly which part of the beach you are on.
2Chaweng Noi - a romantic holiday, but less convenient for evenings out
Chaweng Noi lies south of central Chaweng and offers a beautiful beach, green hills and hotels overlooking the sea.
The area is calmer than Chaweng, and particularly suits anyone looking for a couples' holiday, a pool facing the sea or a pampering villa.
This is also where we stayed during our visit to Koh Samui.
What we loved about Chaweng Noi
The beach is beautiful, the atmosphere is calmer, and at some of the hotels you can enjoy an impressive view over the bay.
If you plan to spend a lot of time by the pool, on the beach and using the hotel facilities, you can really enjoy the location.
But Chaweng Noi is a good example of how being close on the map does not always mean being within walking distance.
Why is it hard to go out from here in the evening?
In parts of Chaweng Noi, the hotels are along the main road or on slopes above the sea.
There are not comfortable pavements everywhere, and walking between hotels and restaurants can be unpleasant, especially in the dark.
We felt this clearly during our stay at The Sarann.
The hotel itself gave us a very pampering experience, but every time we wanted to go out for dinner outside the hotel, we realised we depended on transport.
If you plan to go out almost every evening, the cost of taxis and the need to arrange rides are part of what you need to factor into the price of the holiday.
The Sarann - our own experience
In March 2025 we stayed in a spacious villa with a jacuzzi facing the sea.
The room was one of the things we loved most: lots of space, privacy and a beautiful view.
The service was excellent too.
But alongside the good stay, the location was less successful for anyone who likes to go out in the evening.
For us, The Sarann is better suited to anyone planning to enjoy the hotel itself, and less to anyone who wants to walk out to restaurants and shops every evening.
Impiana Resort Chaweng Noi - a hotel on the beach
We also stayed at Impiana Resort in March 2025.
It is a hotel on Chaweng Noi beach, with a pool facing the sea and a tropical resort atmosphere.
During our stay we came up against a gap between the room we were given and the room we had booked, and were then upgraded to a larger room.
We loved the design and the beach setting, but in terms of value for money, the experience was less successful compared with other hotels we stayed at during the trip.
Here too, the location makes a big difference when it comes to going out in the evening.
Full review of Impiana Resort Chaweng Noi
Who should choose Chaweng Noi?
It is a good area for couples, honeymooners and anyone who prefers a beautiful, fairly quiet beach.
It is less suitable for anyone who wants to walk out every evening to restaurants, the mall or Chaweng's nightlife.
The most important tip: check the route from the hotel to the nearest restaurants, rather than relying on the straight-line distance to central Chaweng.
3Bophut and Fisherman's Village - for anyone who loves restaurants and an evening atmosphere
Bophut is in the north of Koh Samui and is best known for Fisherman's Village, an area of restaurants, cafes, shops and bars along the beach.
In terms of evenings out, it is one of the most interesting areas on the island for anyone who prefers a relaxed night out to parties and clubs.
You can go out for dinner, browse the shops, sit down for a cocktail facing the sea and walk back to your hotel, as long as it is close to the village.
The difference between Bophut and Fisherman's Village
It is important to understand that the name Bophut refers to a wider area than the tourist street of the fishing village.
A hotel listed under Bophut is not necessarily within walking distance of Fisherman's Village.
Some hotels are on the stretch of beach west of the village, while others are along inland roads or further from the central area.
So if you choose Bophut for the restaurants and shops, check the real distance from the hotel to the fishing village.
What is an evening in Bophut like?
Instead of Chaweng's intense nightlife, the focus here is on restaurants, bars and strolling between shops.
One of the best-known places is Coco Tam's, which combines a bar and beach restaurant with fire shows.
The area also has a walking street market, which draws visitors from other parts of Koh Samui.
And what about the beach?
Bophut Beach has views of the sea and Koh Phangan, but the sand and swimming conditions are different from the east coast beaches.
If you are mainly looking for a swimming beach with soft white sand, compare it with other beaches on Koh Samui rather than choosing Bophut only for its waterfront location.
Hotels worth knowing in Bophut
Suits: couples, families, food lovers and anyone looking for a relaxed, accessible evening out.
What to check before booking: whether the hotel really is close to Fisherman's Village, and whether the route there is comfortable to walk in the evening.
4Lamai - a mix of beach, restaurants and a more laid-back atmosphere
Lamai is in the south-east of Koh Samui and is one of the island's main tourist areas.
The area has a long beach, a range of hotels, restaurants, bars, cafes and tourist services.
In character, Lamai is similar to Chaweng in some ways, but generally offers a slightly less intense atmosphere.
Why choose Lamai?
The big advantage is being able to combine a beach holiday with evenings out and restaurants, without having to choose the buzzing centre of Chaweng.
In the central parts of Lamai you can walk to restaurants and shops, and there are also evening markets.
In addition, you can sometimes find accommodation in the area at better prices than similar hotels in Chaweng.
Not every hotel in Lamai is near the centre
Lamai Beach is long, and the hotels are spread along different parts of it.
A hotel at the end of the beach or on a hill may be far from the streets where the restaurants and bars are concentrated.
So it is important to check not only the name of the beach but also the exact location.
Hotels worth knowing in the Lamai area
The last two are better suited to anyone looking for a resort holiday, and less to anyone who wants to walk around central Lamai every evening.
Suits: couples, families and travellers who want restaurants and services nearby, with a slightly calmer atmosphere than Chaweng.
What to check: the distance to central Lamai, how good the hotel's beach is for swimming and your options for going out in the evening.
5Maenam - a relaxed holiday in the north of Koh Samui
Maenam is a beach area in the north of the island, with a long stretch of sand, small hotels, bungalows and resorts.
The atmosphere here is fairly relaxed, especially compared with Chaweng.
It is an area that suits anyone who wants to rest, spend a lot of time on the beach and enjoy a slower-paced holiday.
What is there nearby?
Maenam has restaurants, shops and local services, but they are not concentrated evenly along the whole beach.
In some parts you can find places to eat near your hotel, while in others you will need to drive.
There is also a walking street market in the area, but it is no substitute for the choice of restaurants and nights out in Chaweng or Fisherman's Village.
Hotels worth knowing
Who is Maenam for?
Couples, families looking for quiet and travellers planning a fairly long stay on the island.
It is less suitable for anyone looking for intense nightlife or a wide choice of restaurants a short walk from every hotel.
What to check: how close the restaurants and shops are, where the hotel is in relation to the main road and whether you plan to get around by car.
6Choeng Mon - a fairly quiet bay in the north-east of the island
Choeng Mon is in the north-east of Koh Samui, in an area with several small bays and resorts.
Choeng Mon's main beach is a sandy bay with a fairly relaxed atmosphere.
It particularly suits anyone looking for a beach holiday with a pleasant hotel who is not interested in being at the centre of the nightlife.
The advantages of Choeng Mon
One advantage is being able to enjoy a sandy bay with hotels on the beach, while not being a particularly long drive from Chaweng or the airport.
There are also restaurants around the beach and the village, although the choice is smaller than in Chaweng.
As with any beach area, swimming conditions change with the weather and the tides.
Hotels worth knowing
The wider north-east also has luxury resorts in private bays, but not all of them are on Choeng Mon Beach itself.
Suits: couples, families, romantic breaks and anyone looking for a fairly calm beach without going too far from Chaweng.
7Bang Rak and Plai Laem - close to the airport and the piers
Bang Rak, also known as Big Buddha Beach, is in the north-east of Koh Samui.
It is an area with hotels, restaurants, boat departure points and fairly easy access to the airport.
Plai Laem is in the wider north-east of the island, with temples, bays and resorts.
The big advantage: a convenient location for getting around
If you are coming to Koh Samui for a short time, planning to move on to Koh Phangan or need to get to the airport, the area can be convenient logistically.
However, check the exact departure pier, as boats to other islands leave from several piers around Koh Samui.
The downsides
Bang Rak Beach is not necessarily the first choice if you are looking for the most beautiful swimming beach on the island.
Parts of it have boat traffic and moorings.
In addition, being close to the airport can mean aircraft noise in some locations.
Suits: travellers who prefer to be close to the airport or a pier, and anyone who wants a fairly convenient tourist area that is not central Chaweng.
8Silver Beach and the hillside hotels - for anyone looking for views and privacy
Between Chaweng Noi and Lamai is a stretch of coast with small bays, granite boulders and green hills.
One of the best-known places here is Silver Beach, also called Crystal Bay.
It is a particularly beautiful small bay, but staying in the area is a different experience from central Chaweng or Lamai.
A holiday centred on the beach and the hotel
Instead of a main street with dozens of shops and restaurants, this area has hotels and restaurants scattered between the bays and the road.
At some hotels you can easily reach the beach, while at others the rooms are on a slope.
Hotels in the area include Crystal Bay Beach Resort and Crystal Bay Yacht Club Beach Resort.
In the bays and on the nearby hills there are also luxury hotels that focus on privacy, views and the resort experience.
What to check
If the aim is to spend most of your time in the sea and at the hotel, this area can suit you very well.
But if you want to go out to restaurants and bars every evening, you need to factor in transport.
Also check how many steps there are between the room and the beach, and which side of the road the hotel facilities are on.
9Lipa Noi and Taling Ngam - sunsets and resorts in the west of Koh Samui
The west and south-west of Koh Samui offer a very different experience from Chaweng.
Here you will find quieter beaches, coconut plantations, villages and resorts with views towards the sunset.
It is an area that suits anyone who prefers a relaxed, fairly secluded holiday.
Lipa Noi - a quiet beach and a resort atmosphere
Lipa Noi is in the west of the island and has a sandy beach with a relaxed atmosphere.
The area suits anyone who wants to spend a lot of time at the hotel and on the beach and has less need for nightlife.
One of the hotels in the area is Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Koh Samui, which combines accommodation with a beach club.
There is a difference between the atmosphere at a hotel like this and quieter resorts on the same stretch, so it is important to check the style of the place.
Taling Ngam - views and quiet in the south-west
Taling Ngam is known for its sunset views and hotels set between the beach, hills and tropical vegetation.
One of the resorts associated with the area is InterContinental Koh Samui Resort, on a hillside with sea views.
Choosing an area like this suits anyone who wants a holiday where the hotel itself is a central part of the experience.
The big downside of the west
These areas are fairly far from Chaweng, the shopping centres and many of the places to go out.
If you plan to go out to the other side of the island every evening, the journeys can be tiring and expensive.
Suits: honeymooners, romantic breaks, travellers looking for quiet and anyone planning to spend most of their time at the resort.
How long does it take to get between areas on Koh Samui?
The table below shows estimated driving times between the main tourist hubs. The times do not include waiting for a taxi, stops or unusual traffic jams.
| Route | Estimated driving time |
|---|---|
| Central Chaweng - Chaweng Noi | 10-20 minutes |
| Central Chaweng - Fisherman's Village | 15-25 minutes |
| Central Chaweng - Lamai | 20-35 minutes |
| Central Chaweng - Choeng Mon | 10-20 minutes |
| Central Chaweng - Maenam | 20-35 minutes |
| Fisherman's Village - Maenam | 10-20 minutes |
| Central Chaweng - Lipa Noi | 40-60 minutes |
| Central Chaweng - Taling Ngam | 45-65 minutes |
The figures are only meant to help with planning. Where your hotel is within the area, traffic and road conditions can change the actual time.
It is especially important to remember that a short drive is not necessarily a comfortable walk.
A hotel just a few kilometres from central Chaweng may still require a taxi, because of busy roads, a lack of pavements or hills.
A hotel on the beach, across the road or a villa on a hill?
On Koh Samui, where your room is within the hotel matters too.
A hotel on the beach
This is usually the most convenient option if you want to step out of your room, walk to the pool and reach the sea without a drive.
But make sure the beach is suitable for swimming, because not every stretch that looks beautiful in photos is equally good for a swim.
A hotel across the road
Some hotels have wings on both sides of a road.
The cheaper rooms may be on the inland side, while the main pool and beach access are across the road.
Before you book, check which wing the room you have chosen is in.
A hotel on a hill
Hillside resorts can offer the most impressive views on Koh Samui.
Villas with private pools and panoramic sea views are part of the experiences the island is known for.
But access often involves steep roads, steps or using the hotel's internal shuttle service.
If you plan to go out several times a day or find hills difficult, check this in advance.
How to choose a hotel on Koh Samui by type of holiday
If you want restaurants and nightlife within walking distance
The first choice to look at is central Chaweng.
Another option is a hotel near Fisherman's Village, if you prefer restaurants and bars to clubs.
If you want a beautiful, quieter beach
Chaweng Noi, Choeng Mon and parts of Maenam can suit you.
But make sure the beach suits the kind of swimming you want and that the hotel offers the services you need.
If you want a romantic couples' holiday
You could consider Chaweng Noi, Choeng Mon or a luxury resort in the west.
If most of the holiday is planned around the hotel, a secluded location can be an advantage rather than a drawback.
If you are travelling with children
Look for a hotel with a suitable pool, easy beach access and restaurants nearby.
Choeng Mon, Bophut and parts of Chaweng may suit you, depending on the hotel and the children's ages.
If you want to keep costs down
Lamai and Maenam can offer a range of accommodation, including hotels and bungalows for different budgets.
But a cheap hotel in a remote area is not necessarily good value if you plan to spend a lot on journeys every evening.
If you want views, a private pool and privacy
The hillside hotels between Chaweng Noi and Lamai, or the resorts in the west of the island, can be particularly interesting.
In that case, choose the hotel first and foremost for the experience it offers, and plan your journeys separately.
What to check before booking a hotel on Koh Samui
Can you walk out in the evening?
This is the first question we would ask today.
It is not enough to check whether there are restaurants on the map. Look at what the route from the hotel to them is like, whether there is a pavement and whether it is suitable for walking after dark too.
What is really within walking distance?
There is a difference between a hotel five minutes' walk from a street full of restaurants and a hotel at a similar distance from just one expensive restaurant.
Is the room in the same part of the hotel as the pool and the beach?
Large hotels sometimes have several wings, and some of them are across the road or up a hill.
Is the beach good for swimming?
Check the water depth, the rocks and the tides, especially if it matters to you to swim in the sea and not just in the pool.
Is the hotel next to a club or a bar?
Chaweng is a good example of an area where a few hundred metres can make a big difference to the noise level.
How much will getting around cost during the holiday?
If you plan to go out every evening, work out the total cost of transport rather than only comparing room prices.
A cheaper hotel can end up more expensive if every outing involves two taxi rides.
Are you really planning to spend time at the hotel?
Sometimes people pay more for a resort with a beautiful pool, a private beach and pampering facilities, but leave every morning and only come back at night.
If you are planning trips and outings all day long, a central location may matter more to you than a lavish pool.
Which area of Koh Samui would we choose next time?
Our choice would depend on the style of holiday.
If the aim were to combine beach, restaurants, shopping and nightlife, we would start by looking for a hotel in a central, convenient spot in Chaweng, but not right next to the noisy hotspots.
If we were looking for a calmer holiday with the option of going out to restaurants and shops in the evening, we would look at a hotel a short walk from Fisherman's Village.
For a romantic holiday where most of the time is spent at the hotel, we would definitely consider going back to the Chaweng Noi area or choosing a resort in one of the quiet bays.
And the most important point is that we would check the location before the photos of the room.
During our stay at The Sarann we learned that a hotel can be very pampering and still not quite match what we were looking for.
It was not a bad choice. It simply suited a holiday where you stay at the hotel better than one where you want to go out every evening.
On Koh Samui, the right hotel is not necessarily the most beautiful one - but the one that lets you enjoy the holiday you really want.
FAQs about where to stay in Koh Samui
Where is the best place to stay in Koh Samui for a first visit?
If you want a beach, restaurants, shopping and nightlife on your doorstep, central Chaweng is a good starting point. If you prefer a calmer evening atmosphere, look at Fisherman's Village in Bophut.
What is the difference between Chaweng and Chaweng Noi?
Chaweng is a busy tourist area with restaurants, shops and clubs. Chaweng Noi has a beautiful beach and a calmer atmosphere, but from some hotels it is hard to walk out in the evening.
Is Bophut a good place to stay?
Yes, especially if you love restaurants, cafes and a pleasant evening atmosphere. It is important to choose a hotel that really is close to Fisherman's Village.
Where should you stay in Koh Samui with children?
Choeng Mon, Bophut and parts of Chaweng can suit families. Choose a hotel based on the swimming conditions, the children's facilities and how easy it is to get around.
Which is the quietest area on Koh Samui?
Maenam, parts of Choeng Mon and the western areas such as Lipa Noi and Taling Ngam usually offer a quieter atmosphere, although the noise level depends on the hotel and its surroundings.
Where can you find reasonably priced hotels?
Lamai and Maenam offer accommodation at different price levels. In Chaweng too you can find hotels for a range of budgets, especially if you move a little back from the beachfront.
Do you have to hire a car on Koh Samui?
No. If you stay in a central area you can manage much of the time on foot and by taxi. To explore different parts of the island you will usually need transport.
Can you walk from Chaweng Noi to Chaweng?
It depends on exactly where your hotel is. On some stretches the route involves a busy road without a comfortable pavement, so walking is not always a practical or safe option, especially at night.
Which is better to stay in - Chaweng or Lamai?
Chaweng is better for anyone looking for a wide choice of restaurants, shopping and clubs. Lamai has a beach and a lively tourist area with a slightly more laid-back atmosphere.
Is it worth booking a hotel with a private pool on a hill?
It can be an excellent experience if you are looking for views, privacy and rest. Before booking, check the road up to the hotel, the number of steps and how you will get to restaurants.
In summary - how to choose the right area in Koh Samui
Koh Samui lets you enjoy very different kinds of holiday.
You can choose a hotel in central Chaweng and enjoy the freedom to go out every evening, a resort in Chaweng Noi with a beautiful view and a sense of privacy, a hotel near Fisherman's Village with restaurants within walking distance or a secluded villa in the west of the island.
Each of these options can be excellent.
But before you book, it is worth understanding not only what is inside the hotel, but also what awaits you outside it.
Because once the view from the balcony has impressed you and the pool looks perfect, there comes a moment when you want to go out to eat, head to another beach or simply wander around in the evening.
Choosing the right location will let you enjoy all of that without discovering halfway through your holiday that the beautiful hotel you chose is far from everything you love to do.
